This headbot originally started out as my first 'R1' project which is just your basic house explorer bot. It never happened though...
Raiderbot is just a statue now. It fell off this table the very night this photo was taken.
no helmet makes this rookie vulnerable
I so thought at this point I was ready to go all out and build a house roaming robot. I spent weeks planning everything. After construction of its torso I realized how much it looked like an NFL player. So I couldn't resist cutting into a 'Raider' pencil box and shaping it around its brains. I even had a waving arm sticking out so I could put the team flag in it.
But then it happened... A loud CRASH I'm sure but no one ever heard it. When I entered the garage the next morning I immediately noticed 'LI' on the floor. That shelf with all those robots on it broke free and crashed everything to the ground.

'LI' was fine, just a small scratch. 'NAT' was perfect, it's very light you know. Carbot had a wheel destroyed, 'FT' lost its battery cage, Glitch sprained a foot (for decoration foot), Eabon 1 did not suddenly start to work. The worst damage in my opinion was the broken neck Raiderbot received. That poor little guy will never sit there telling me 'no' all day ever again. So I scratched the 'R1 Project'... for now...
Raiderbot used a unique wormdrive motor I yanked out of an old printer. The plastic axle snapped in two making it useless forever.
